Bruno Merks
Bruunari GY1 and GY2
My Bruunari gypsies will be in Samois again. And I hope that lots of players, will take and play them again. I got a “bravo” from Tchavolo Schmitt and may others liked them to ,so it seems than I am on the right way to a fine gipsy sounding guitar. They are not for sale but WE (you and me together) can make you one, according to your own wishes. SO REAL CUSTOM BUILD. The same can be done for a classical or a flamenco guitar.
The delivery time is between 3 an 4 months now. If you live in the Netherlands or you like to do a summer course you can even build your own guitar.
Guitar Nr 366. Eko, 1978
This is the 5th Eko bass I have for sale . You will find lots of information about my experiences with this bass guitars. This one is a 6 (nylon) string fret less type. A simple good working dubbel pick up is build in. Hard to find great to play.
Guitar Nr 369. Paul Didier +/- 1950
A classical gypsy guitar in a Selmer size. This guitar could not be build by Paul Didier himself but by Louis Patenotte or one of the other luthiers who worked for Didier. An instrument with the old “Cafe de Paris” sound
Guitar Nr 370. Henri Miller +/- 1950
A true Henri Miller solid build instrument in a Favino size. It will be difficult to find this very original gipsy guitar in this state. You have something in your hands when you play it.
Guitar Nr 371. Claude Patenotte +/- 2005
A Selmer size fine gipsy guitar build by Louis Patenotte son, Claude.
Strong build instrument and a fine performer. Good volume and sustain.
Guitar Nr 372. Aria MM20, 1974
Yes an Aria but build in 1974. Even when you are a starter playing gipsy music
you will never sell this particular Aria MM20. It has a remarkable warm sound for a Selmer sized guitar.
Guitar Nr 373. Eko, 1978 El Gaucho
A very rare beautiful build instrument with a sound between a western and a gipsy guitar. The size is close to a Favino model but deeper. It is in perfect, like new condition, and plays easy. Do not hesitate and grab your chance.
Guitar Nr 401. Bruunari KLGY 12th fret O hole
These guitars are set up in the atelier in Kubu Lalang according to my drawings and specifications. They are Selmer size instruments and the building up and finishing is done in the atelier in The Netherlands. They are completely hand build and the delivery is time between 2 and 3 months now. Come and see at the camping Site you sure will be surprised. If you Djangofils have tested them and like them, I will also build the same 4 types in a Favino size like my Bruunari Gypsy’s. Your comments are most welcome. The prize is ridicules for a solid, hand build guitar with these performances.
